Vision, Mission & Structure
Rotary Vision
Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to
create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Structure
Rotary is made up of three parts: Clubs, Rotary International, and The Rotary Foundation. Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.
As a global organization that operates in nearly every country
in the world and deals in 29 currencies, Rotary takes stewardship of its funds
seriously. We have invested $3 billion in thousands of projects over the past
100 years. Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation of Rotary
International are separate entities with distinct reporting requirements. Under
United States tax law, they are both tax-exempt organizations.
Rotary 46,000 Clubs believe that we have a shared responsibility
to take action on our world’s most persistent issues.

We use our knowledge of local issues to identify areas of need, then apply our expertise and diverse perspectives to find a solution. Rotary members likely are working in your community right now to feed the hungry, tutor disadvantaged children, maintain parks and playgrounds, and much more.
